Time and The Theory Of Everything

Your time is limited, so don't waste it living someone else's life. Don't be trapped by dogma - which is living with the results of other people's thinking. Don't let the noise of others' opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition. - Steve Jobs They say time is money. I've been hearing about this for all my life but not until I re-framed my thinking about time. I did not realize the value of time before. I thought the cliche quote about time is money only applies to businessmen, because they are the ones making money anyways. But as soon as I grasped the value of time and how it affects everything in our lives gave me a different lens in looking at the world. One time when I was in the shower, something struck me. I remembered a person telling me that she doesn't have time. I was meditating on the idea of time for a while back then. That could someone really be out time? And

Think Small To Achieve Big

"With great power comes great responsibility." - Ben Parker, Spiderman RESPONSIBILITY: Big Word We all know this quote from the movie Spiderman. And it truly is. But sometimes, things are too big that we end up overwhelmed and paralyzed. Overcoming the small things is much harder than the bigger ones. Why? Because we consider them small. We say, 'Meh! I think I'll do it later." We procrastinate. Yet they are so easy! So, I realized that I should be focusing on the smaller things because they make up the bigger ones in the long run. But it doesn't mean I won't be doing the bigger ones. It's just that the smaller ones are just... well smaller.  Responsibility knows no size. Either its's small or big. It's all the same. It is when we take full responsibility to do, not the bigger things, but what is important and what needs to be done. No matter how small or big it is. Small Thinking: Big Outcome Overcome the smaller things

Why I Don't Have A New Year's Resolution

"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!" 2 Corinthians 5:17 "When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put the ways of childhood behind me." 1 Corinthians 13:11 The Problem: The Resolution It's the time of the year where people have what is so called "The New Year's Resolution". People promise that they will not eat fatty food, that they will lose those extra pounds (worth of spaghetti, ham, lechon, and everything cholesterol), that they won't be late for work(or for school), that they will not spend too much, that they will move on (from that breakup), that they won't eat ice cream (except if your are one of the people who are moving on. Good luck!) See, these are all good things to consider but based on the idea of a resolution, there is this idea that there's something to resolve.
